Wilting Flowers Shirt

The classic long sleeved buttoned shirt, reinterpreted. The bottom part of the shirt is embellished with tone-on-tone hand embroidery and cutwork making it a hybrid of the modern shirt and kebaya. The floral motif was exclusively designed for the Midnight Garden collection, expressing a mix of blooming buds and wilted flowers and leaves, symbolizing the cycle of birth and death: how gardening is about nurturing growth, and letting go of what has to die.
