Inspired by the long kebaya, this outer is reinterpreted into a hoodie with hand embroidery and cutwork. The tone-on-tone motif is an upside down orchid, a symbol of dying beauty. The orchid is a flower which is hard to nurture. But once it blooms, it is beautiful and strong. But once it dies, it takes true patience to wait for it to bloom again. Just like life... some good things are worth the wait and hard to keep.
