Cold Wax and Semi Handdrawn Batik Tulis from Pekalongan

Cold Wax (Malam Dingin) combined with Handdrawn Batik (Tulis) from Pekalongan, Central Java.
The cold wax technique uses resist dyeing principal but with a screenprinted cold wax so it is not handstamped nor handwritten, therefore often considered as a mix of traditional and modern production technique. But since this piece also combines handwritten batik technique on some parts of the design, we can say this still has a high value of craftsmanship.
